Dior by Demarchelier just came in the mail. Yay!

Beautiful book, stunning photos. This is a stunning full-stop to the Galliano period, even though there are some photos pre- and post-Galliano. About 95% of my faves here were Galliano and I’d say a small majority of photos cover his tenure. Sighs.

As far as I can tell, Dior still remains head-designerless. I’ve mentioned the Galliano scandal before, but I’ve been reticent in making any comments, because I’m still not exactly sure what to think. John Galliano has to be my number one, far and away favourite designer ever. How does one incorporate that with such unacceptable behaviour and more seriously (in this case) sentiments?
