I think I feel ill after posting so many boring, fugly and ill-fitting pictures, it’s not right I tell you. Did stylists get together and secretly agree to dress their clients in the most boring clothes they could find? Where’s the glamour, the drama, the beauty?
I am actually quite gobsmacked. Red carpets have been getting worse these last few years, but usually there are a few good looks to even it all out. But looking through the net tonight it was just blah after blah. God, the only look I can half stomach was Tilda Swinton and Natalie Portman (who was only slightly above her average - that is, so-so, in my opinion).
I think the entire Hollywood community and their stylists has to go away and think about what they’ve done and who’ve they’ve hurt tonight. I’d say something about really bringing it for the Oscars, but after the car crashes I’ve seen tonight I’m just hoping that the Red Carpet Reporter’s Guild goes on strike or something, because this is just sad.
