Versace Couture F/W 2001. Love this dress so bad.
Apparently there will be a Versace Couture show next season… yay!
No idea who the model ( or actress? singer?) is? If you do, let me know.

Emma Stone at the Oscar Vanity Fair party last year.
Normally I really hate how interesting up-coming actresses start dressing really sophisticated and almost matronly in Chanel (and others) after some big break and lose all their individuality. But try as I might, there is nothing bad I can say about this particular outfit - the miniskirt, the train, the fireworks, the different colours, I love it all.
The best fashion moment of last year’s Oscars, and maybe the best fashion moment of the year, was when Cate Blanchett showed up on the red carpet in Givenchy. The fashion bloggers went into esoteric hysterics. It was a bold move done with quiet conifedience. She wore this beautifully strange (and strangely beautiful) gown with patrician assurance, daring, just daring all those lowlifes who scuttle about on the sides of the red carpet to say something negative about it. Not that she’s tuned into that low of a frequency anyways.

Yep, Rooney Mara is my fave for Oscar night 2012. I just keep going back to this white lace Givenchy Couture number with the plunging neckline and detailed decolletage. It makes her red lips and hair really stand out. Heart!
