Why “The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas” is an important educational tool:

  1. The clipped English accents of the actors stand as an eternal reminder of the thoroughly British character of the Holocaust.
  2. The moral lesson that, no matter how dodgy the deliberate murder of millions of innocent Jews (and others) was, the real tragedy of the Holocaust was that young sons of Nazi’s could sneak into the camps and be accidentally gassed.
